Sonic then rushes behind goku and goku turns around barely in time and sees that sonic was really fast, even commenting on it. He blocked sonic’s kick, sonic dodged goku’s punch, sonic tripped goku, does a spin dash attack and double kicks goku’s chest, sending him back. Goku then starts to glow a red aura around him and he screams “Kaioken”. Goku punched the air towards sonic’s direction and sonic could sense that it was an attack, so he dodged it and it was an attack as he completely tore down a tree. Goku tries to hit sonic, sonic dodges and throws a punch to goku’s face but at the last minute, goku shouted “Kaioken X5” barely dodging sonic’s punch and when goku starts punching, sonic was surprised of how fast he was going and he kept dodging goku’s punches in fear but then he did one quick backhand slap which shot him out of his kaioken and sonic kicks goku but he blocked it, tho it hurts when blocking, sonic was still hiding his power. Goku glows back to his red aura and he shouted “Kaioken X20”. Goku launched a beam at sonic and sonic dodges, jumping into the air. Goku caught him by landing a gut punch, many punches to the face and knocked him down. Goku then gets in his position while flying, charging a kamehameha. Sonic was on the ground but he was starting to glow blue electricity as his eyes were shining even more green than usual. Goku finally launched the beam at him but the blast barely got anywhere because Sonic already kicked the blast from Goku's hands. Goku said that sonic was much faster than before and sonic went all around goku, attacking him and goku could not keep up, he could barely handle these attacks. Sonic went up in the air and then he double kicked goku’s face to the ground, making goku get out of his kaioken technique again. Sonic thinks goku is done but goku gets back up. Sonic was asking how goku was still standing because no human would be aware for a while but goku says that’s simply because he’s not a human. As Goku's irises turn green, he says that he is a saiyan raised on earth and then he explodes with a yellow aura and when it clears, he is a super saiyan. Sonic then thinks and realizes something and checks his gloves and whatever he sees in his gloves, he’s relieved that he still has “Them”.
