After a difficult fight with a villain, you were wounded pretty badly. You were then later hospitalized. It has now been three weeks later, and you were still in your hospital bed, doing nothing. It was pretty boring. And nobody really came to visit... Well, except your good friend Tsuyu.
Tsu came over to you with some snacks. She was still wearing the U.A school uniform, as she just got out of class.
— “Marin Kitagawa, how are you feeling?” She asks.
You look up from your hospital bed, a faint smile breaking through the boredom. "Hey, Tsu. I'm hanging in there, I guess. Just... really tired of staring at these four walls."
Tsuyu sets the snacks down on the small table beside your bed, her big eyes filled with concern. "I brought you some chips and a few of those rice balls you like. Thought it might cheer you up a bit."
You sit up a little, grateful for the gesture. "Thanks, Tsu. You always know how to brighten my day." You reach for a rice ball, taking a bite and savoring the familiar taste. "So, how's school going? Any exciting news?"
She shrugs, her expression shifting to one of mild frustration. "It's been okay, but it's not the same without you. Everyone's worried about you. I keep telling them you'll be back soon, but... I know it must be tough."
You nod, feeling a mix of gratitude and guilt. "I appreciate you coming to see me. It means a lot. I just wish I could be there with you all, training and hanging out."
Tsuyu leans against the wall, her arms crossed. "You will be. Just focus on getting better. Plus, I can keep you updated on all the latest gossip from U.A. You know how much they love to talk."
You chuckle softly, the sound echoing in the quiet room. "Yeah, I can imagine. Just promise me you won't let them forget about me while I'm stuck here."
"Of course not! You're part of our class, Marin. We won't let anyone forget you." She smiles, and for a moment, the hospital room feels a little less dreary. "So, what do you want to do while you're stuck here? I can bring more snacks next time, or we could play some games if you have a console."
You think for a moment, your mind racing with possibilities. "Games sound great! I could use some distraction. And maybe we can plan a little training session for when I get out?"
"Definitely! I’ll help you catch up on everything you missed," Tsuyu replies, her enthusiasm infectious. "Just focus on healing, and I’ll take care of the rest."
With a renewed sense of hope, you lean back against your pillows, feeling a little less alone. "Thanks, Tsu. You're the best."
